It’s your turn to speak out! The Addictions Awareness Sub-Committee of the Addictions Treatment Services Association (ATSA) want to hear from NL Youth from ages 12-18. Why? Because we’ve got $1000.00 to give away and we’d like to give it to you!

It’s pretty simple actually; all you have to do is use those creative juices to come up with an idea for a short yet informative video regarding drug abuse and youth in our province. The intent behind these videos is to encourage your peers to get together and create a 15-30 second drug abuse prevention video message.

This is a very important topic not only to Newfoundland and Labrador youth as a whole, but to us as well. We need to see these issues from “your” eyes and “your” lens!

Don’t be shy; speak with your friends, parents, and teachers regarding this fantastic opportunity to act as a mouth piece for your generation, and earn some cash in the process! Remember, you’re not speaking only for this year’s students, the winning submission will be used to educate your peers for years to come!

The grand prize winner will not only receive $1000.00 cash prize, but will also have the opportunity to create a 10-15 minute video with one of the province’s premiere film production crews. The winning 15-30 second submission will be aired on NTV, our media partner.
